Chimney Cowl Fitting Louth
Louth's coastal towns and older town-centre homes see plenty of birds and sea weather. We supply and fit chimney cowls and crow guards in Drogheda, Dundalk, Ardee and the surrounding villages.

Chimneys in Louth
Drogheda and Dundalk have lots of older terraced homes with multiple pots, while coastal villages like Clogherhead and Termonfeckin face strong onshore winds. We match the cowl to each flue and its exposure.
Common problems we see
- Gulls and crows using open pots in coastal towns.
- Wind-driven rain entering chimneys near the coast.
- Shared stacks on terraced streets with several open pots.
- Disused chimneys letting in damp.
Is the €160 crow guard right for my chimney?
The Allgrip Crow Guard suits many standard round pots on open fireplaces and disused chimneys. Stoves, gas appliances and lined flues usually need a different terminal. Send us a photo and tell us how the chimney is used, and we'll confirm the right product before you book.
